A program of the Good Will Farm Association,

dedicated to providing one-to-one friendship, guidance,
and opportunities to children and youth. Big Brothers
Big Sisters believes in building the strengths of
children and youth and helping them grow into confident,
competent, and caring individuals. The local agency
offers three core programs:
TRADITIONAL PROGRAM: Adult Mentors
from throughout the community are matched to a child
and spend one-to-one, quality time with that child on
a consistent basis engaging in safe, fun activities of
their choice, developing a friendship with the child.
HIGH FIVE MENTORING: A school-based
program that matches high school mentors to elementary
school students referred to the program by their
teachers. The one-to-one matches meet once a week
during a class period for the length of the school
year. Academics serve as a vehicle to developing a
consistent relationship based on friendship.
TEAM MENTORING: Big Brothers Big
Sisters partners with youth-serving organizations and
other groups to deliver site-based mentoring programs
throughout our communities. BBBS looks to these groups
to provide volunteer mentors, youth in need of
mentoring and/or a facility to house the mentoring
sessions. Each group determines the specific
guidelines of its contribution to the program. The
program provides a supervised, creative and safe
environment for children and volunteers to meet and
establish an ongoing relationship.
